Volunteer Profile

I've been a member of Trout Unlimited since 2006 and consider myself an active member since 2008.  In 2009 I jointed the Brodhead Chapter Board of directors, shortly thereafter being voted in as treasurer which I served as for 7 years, I Then served as Chapter Secretary for 4 years.  I currently serve as the Chapter President.
In my role as a chapter leader I've chaired the committee for our annual banquet for the last 10 years and acted as the finance committee chairman.  As the finance committee chairman I've experimented, not always successfully, with diversifying our Chapter revenue stream.
In my professional life I work for a civil and environmental consulting service and have used my skills as a civil designer to create construction drawings for our projects, and to create promotional maps or our completed projects.  I've also injected by knowledge as a consultant to our advocacy team.
I've also acted as a our chapter Construction Manager during the implementation of habitat improvement projects.
As secretary I've worked to improve our communications and dress up our public image.
