Bio

While I still do a little consulting and, of course, volunteer work, I spend most of my time enjoying my retirement in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  I share an adobe house on a few acres with my young gun dog Tabor, a Field Bred English Springer Spaniel. We are blessed to live in this land of more than 300 days of sunshine per year, with 13,000 foot mountains nearby feeding many, many miles of wonderful streams.

In addition to fly fishing, fly tying, gardening, upland bird hunting (and dog training when I have a pup) keep me pretty busy throughout the year.   I have more than 30 years experience fishing New Mexico's trout streams, and am rapidly expanding my knowledge of Colorado's.

A passion for the outdoors was instilled in me at a very young age, and preserving such opportunities for future generations is a key driver for me now.
