I retired in 2019, having spent 30-odd years as a professor, teaching and doing research on childhood obesity and other public health-related topics. I've been an avid fly fisher since childhood, and now, after my wife and I moved to northern New Hampshire in 2016, I do a lot of fishing for trout, salmon and striped bass. I'm also active in learning more about fisheries science and taking part in conservation efforts, including those led or supported by TU.
