I am retired since July 2017- Worked for 6 years as a manufacturing engineer for a small jewelry manufacturer out of college, followed by 23 years in industrial and plastics engineering and management at Bausch & Lomb in the soft contact lens business, finishing with 12 years at Transcat (scientific equipment sales & calibration) doing facilities management/design and engineering, risk management, logistics, etc.
My pursuits now consist mostly of recreational opportunities - Fishing, boating, biking, golf, and especially skiing. I also collect and restore antique and vintage fly-fishing gear, both rods and reels, but primarily bamboo rods.
