Licensed pilot since 1975 with multi-engine & instrument ratings; earned Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from the University of Alabama, 1993; 30 years cumulative professional experience in the fields of public administration and airports planning, construction and operations; Adjunct instructor at Auburn University Montgomery teaching a 400 level Environmental Policy course, 1993; 2001 chair of the National Association of State Aviation Officials; avid backpacker since 1974; Colorado Trail Foundation volunteer since 2006; passionate about fly fishing since 2007; favorite fly fishing destinations are the Colorado Rockies and Smoky Mountains; favorite Colorado streams are the Conejos & tribs, Arkansas & tribs, Eagle River, Los Pinos River, Rio Grande River, Cochetopa Creek; favorite Smokies streams are those in the Cataloochee Valley. Dedicated to the protection, conservation and preservation of our nation's public lands, air and waters. TU lifetime member since June 2018.
